Why this list?

My current influencer list is a set of sites, people, and subjects that I am currently invovled with. These will change from time to time depending on my interests. Each one has something unique that draws me to them. For instance, I like "The Pretty Reckless" not only because their music is good, but because the lead singer, Taylor Momsen, also played Cindy Loo Who in the 1999 release of "The Grinch". I guess she really grew into that nose! I love people that transition in ways that are unexpected.

New, Compact Site Model

With the theft of my information and the work required to move the site, I briefly considered removing the site and letting it go beyond the veil. My wife, Laura, talked me out of this. Ancient Pathway has been around since 1989 in one form or another, and will remain available to those that have interest. But the new format will be a more compact version without the full depth of the previous site. This may change over time, but it will take a very long time as I put my energies into multiple projects. Lilith willing, the site will come back stronger than before. Until then, enjoy the more compact information contained here.

Welcome to Ancient Pathway

If you clicked an old bookmark or link, or used a search engine, you may have landed here and it is not what you expected. There is a signficant reason for this. In September of 2023, there was a disagreement between the owner of Ancient Pathway and Hostgator, the company that hosted Ancient Pathway and the entire C.W. Klein suite of sites. Without warning, after more than two decades, the company tripled the price of the hosting. This was not due to cost overruns, excessive wear-and-tear on machinery that forced replacement, or labor costs. It was pure greed. I attempted to negotiate with them, and their only answer was purchasing a multi-year contract at a much higher price to insure that the price did not go up again. I felt like I was dealing with a Chicago Mob protection racket. I immediately began searching for a new host. I found that Hostgator and Blue Host, the top two in the country, are owned by the same people. I took us back to the root. I now I host with Network Solutions, where I get the domains from. But instead of several sites all over the place, I have retired some of the domains, and now there is just one site - cwklein.com . I retain the domain of Ancientpathway.com, but it directs to this site. These actions make things easier to manage and update. But there are some serious changes to the Ancient Pathway Legacy site.

What changes?

As I prepared for the movement of the site, I ran some sample pages through my A.I. Search engine. I found my personal information, articles written by me for Ancient Pathway over the years, on no less than 500 other websites. And worse than that, I was not given credit for any of this. My commentary, rituals, information, etc. all stolen and claimed by others. To that end, I have pulled the entire site and will rebuild it, page by page, with built in security. Lilith teaches me patience, and I have egg on my face from the dishonesty of others, but not this time. It took more than 30 years to build the first version of Ancient Pathway, and it may take that long to rebuild the new version. But you can come along for the ride, if you like.

Status updates

  • 11/5/2023: The site has been moved to a sub-site of cwklein.com. The new sub-site takes its' place with the photography, writing, and digital art of Christopher Klein.

  • 11/5/2023: The old site at Ancientpathway.com has been disabled and the URL has been pointed to the new site.

  • 11/5/2023: All information from Ancientpathway.com has been downloaded and queued for review and re-write. The process is expected to continue through 2024 and beyond.

What is to come?

As of 11/5/2023, the site-shell has moved to this location. Currently, the associated sub-pages and links are inactive. They will be activated as they are re-written and validated.
